When a Story stand out, you can't help but notice. Set in England there is a difference about this story that makes it unique and just enough old and new ideas mixed togather to make it all seem plausable and realistic. I loved the main charachter, I loved her independence and I loved the fact she doesn't seem to catch up to what's going on around her. SHe's in over her head and just to unaware to see how far it's gone until the end, when by then, there is no going back. The charachters are good, though the main charachter has a mixed bag of friends/allies/enemies that border between fenatical and shallow to intense and uneccecasry. I like the way the changes in her mirrored the way in which the society works, but her lingering past is dragging the story down by trying to creat something that just doesn't have enough depth to feel real. Otherwise, I love it and will keep reading just to see if she can figure enough out to make her own place in the world she is fast outgrowing.

Witchcraft Witchblood Series Book 2 eBook Emma Mills Reviews
I have definitely become a fan of this series. This book was very easy to read...but hard to put down. I don't know why....but I love it when Sebastian and Jess team up...even if it's just to talk. I haven't decided if Luke is a good guy or a bad guy...and I can't wait to read on and find out more. Jess definitely seems to be coming into her own "power". The ending left me chewing my nails until the next one comes out!!
after learning that she is a witch, Jess has quite the journey ahead of her. Not only Enemy Vampire clans are trying to over take her and have her swear allegiance to them, but also other witch covens. The worst yet being her blood family on both the dark and the light side. Being able to flat out ignore what Daniel tells her, makes her a liability, But is she a Liability worth keeping around, and which love of hers will come to her rescue when she needs it most?
Another book about Jess-half vamp/half witch. Dealing with angels, witches and warring vampire clans Jess continues to learn what she can and cannot do.
I wasn't sure how I was going to like this series since most stories in this genre have similarities. This book however was so unexpected...I mean I couldn't put it down. There are so many twists and turns, it keeps your blood pumping! I can't wait for the third book. This author is one of a kind and her ideas are original. I recommend this author to anyone that likes to read YA paranormal. Twilight was really good, but this series gives it a run for its money. Good job, Emma!
This story was very "wordy", the descriptive qualities felt like they were taken directly from a "how to be more descriptive" website. I felt the story dragged, was not exciting and quite frankly could not force myself to finish the book. I was disappointed because due to some reviews I'd actually purchased this and the sequel at the same time. It was not money well spent.
*Obviously this is for the Volume 1 book and I misplaced it. The first book was so boring that I didn't finish it nor did I read the sequel. I don't recommend either*
Story unfolds perfectly flawless,I love watching her grow, understand ,mature love so much every word never a full moment,I forget she's a teen as I'm s 39 YEAR old girl and TOTALLY book worm ALWAYS since I was little ,FANTASTIC!!! I'm left wondering,in suspense.... there's more after part 3 ?? I mean hasta be no way u could leave us like that lol I wrote reviews backwards oops, still remains the same just got better and better .... how do we find out if and when further installments??????? Definite must read ,love, friendship, loss, action packed something for everybody to love and relate to!! I'm sad it's over.............for now???? )
I quite enjoyed this second book in the series, Jess is a likable character and still having problems adjusting to being a vampire/witch. She is also dealing with the two men in her life Luke, an old boyfriend from her human days and Daniel a vampire who sired her and is very protective and controlling. I actually found Luke kind of annoying, he was so anti-vampire yet he made the decision to not let Jess die and now he is pissed off because she needs blood to survive. He needs to get over it already and either move on or at least shut up whinging that she is a vampire now. Daniel on the other hand is way too controlling and jealous of her past with Luke and that in itself is a problem for Jess. There is also dealing with her newly acquired witch powers, fending off dark witches and other vampires who want to control her and then her best friend goes missing. Life is never predictable and the ending is a cliff hanger for sure.
